Kasayapahuda (Kāsāyapahuḍa) (alsoKasayaprabhrta) is one of the oldest canonical texts of theDigambara Jains. Another canonical text, theShatkhandagama was written about the same time.[1] Both these texts are held in high esteem by theDigambaras.Kasaya (passions) form the subject matter ofKasayapahuda.
Kasayapahuda was written byAcharya Gunabhadra in the 1st century A.D.[2][1]
Kasayapahuda discusses the Jain doctrine ofKarma.[1] TheKasayapahuda is written in verses only.[3]
