Karsh is a crater onMercury. It has a diameter of 58 kilometers. Its name was suggested byAmerican resident Elizabeth Freeman Rosenzweig in a naming contest which was eventually adopted by theInternational Astronomical Union (IAU) on 2015.[1] Karsh is named for theArmenian-Canadian photographerYousuf Karsh.[2] The cratersCarolan,Enheduanna,Kulthum, andRivera were also named as part of the contest.
Karsh lies on the west rim of the much largerRembrandt basin.
