Karnıyarık (lit.'riven belly') is aTurkish dish[1] ofeggplant stuffed with a mix of sautéed choppedonions,garlic, black pepper,tomatoes, optionalgreen pepper,parsley, andground meat.[2][3]

It is similar toİmam bayıldı, which does not include meat[1][4] and is served at room temperature or warm.[5]

The dish is often served with rice.[6]
