Karmala Assembly constituency is one of the 288Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) constituencies ofMaharashtra state in westernIndia .[ 1]
Karmala (constituency number 244) is one of the eleven Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in theSolapur district . It covers the entire Karmalatehsil and part of the Madha tehsil of this district.[ 2] The number of electors in 2009 was 250,527 (male 132,006, female 118,521).[ 3]
Karmala is part of theMadha Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha segments, namelyMadha ,Sangola andMalshiras in theSolapur district andPhaltan andMan in theSatara district .[ 4]
