Karl Kuhn is an Americancollege baseball coach and formercatcher, who is the current head coach for theCharleston Southern Buccaneers, having been promoted to the position in June 2024 after serving as the pitching coach the last 2 seasons.[1] Kuhn played college baseball atValencia Community College from 1987 to 1989 and at theUniversity of Florida in 1990 for head coachJoe Arnold. He then served as the head coach of theRadford Highlanders (2020–2022).
Kuhn attendedBuchholz High School inGainesville, Florida. He then enrolled atValencia Community College, to playcollege baseball for the Matadors. After three years at Valencia, Kuhn played his final college season playing at theUniversity of Florida.
On August 22, 2019, Kuhn was named the head baseball coach atRadford University.[2] On June 3, 2022, Kuhn resigned as the head coach of the Highlanders amidst an investigation by the university's human resources department.[3]
