Karl Anthony (born March 14, 1967) is an American former professionalfootball player who was adefensive back in theCanadian Football League (CFL). He was a CFL All-Star with theCalgary Stampeders in 1993. He won aGrey Cup championship with theBaltimore Stallions in1995 and was named theGrey Cup Most Valuable Player (MVP) in1994.
Anthony played his college football atSouthwest Missouri State University and first played professionally for three years with theCalgary Stampeders, where he was an all-star in 1993. In 1994, he moved to theBaltimore Stallions he won theGrey Cup's Most Valuable Player in a losing cause against theBritish Columbia Lions.[1] He helped Baltimore win theGrey Cup in 1995 against his old team, theCalgary Stampeders.[2]
