Goulekas jointly won twoEmmy Awards for her work covering the1992 Summer Olympics.[2] She has jointly won theBAFTA Award for Best Special Visual Effects twice, forThe Fifth Element in 1998[3] andThe Day After Tomorrow in 2005.[4] She jointly won theSaturn Award for Best Special Effects in 1998 for the filmGodzilla,[5] and jointly won the Best Single Visual Effect of the Year at the 3rd annualVisual Effects Society Awards for the tidal wave inThe Day After Tomorrow.[6]
