Karel David (born 8 February 1964 inNový Jičín,Czechoslovakia) is a retiredlong-distance runner from theCzech Republic, who won the 1991 and 1992 edition of theVienna Marathon. David representedCzechoslovakia twice in the men's marathon (1988 and 1992) at theSummer Olympics. He set his personal best time (2:11:57) on 23 May 1993 at theHamburg Marathon which as of April 2024 is still thenational record of the Czech Republic.
