Kareem Moses (born 11 February 1990) is a Trinidadian professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back for Finnish clubJBK.
Born inMorvant, Moses played forJoe Public,St. Ann's Rangers andNorth East Stars in theTT Pro League.[2][3][4]
In 2014, Moses made his first move abroad, signing withNorth American Soccer League sideFC Edmonton.[3]
In 2016, Moses signed with theCarolina RailHawks.[5] He was not retained by North Carolina FC for the 2018 season.[6]
On 8 April 2018, Moses signed a deal with FinnishYkkönen sideFF Jaro for the 2018 season.[7] He made 23 appearances that season, scoring three goals.[3]
On 31 January 2019, Moses signed withFC Edmonton for a second spell.[8] In his return season he made fifteen appearances, including eleven starts.[3]
On 4 February 2021, Moses signed with FinnishYkkönen sideVPS.[9]
In January 2023, Moses returned to former clubFF Jaro.[10]
In January 2025, he signed for Finnish clubJBK.[11]
Moses earned six caps forTrinidad and Tobago between 2012 and 2013.[2] He received a seventh cap in a World Cup qualifying match againstMexico in 2017.[2]
Initially a central defender, he was moved to the fullback position when he signed for FC Edmonton.[12]
On 2 October 2024, it was reported in the Finnish media that Moses had been given a three-month probationary prison sentence with fines by the Court of Ostrobothnia. He had unlawfully recorded, without the other person's consent, a video of him havingsexual intercourse, with the incident having happened inVaasa on 21 April 2021.[13] Jaro had already earlier sidelined him from the club's operations.[14] Moses appealed the Court's decision.[15]
