Kansas's 5th congressional district is an obsolete district for representation in theUnited States House of Representatives.

It existed from 1885 to 1993.

In its final configuration, the district was centered aroundPittsburg, and stretched as far as the southern suburbs ofWichita. Most of the district was rural.^{[citation needed]}
