Kankagrambhukti (Bengali:কঙ্কগ্রামভুক্তি) was an ancient and medieval region/ territory spread across what are nowBirbhum,Purba Bardhaman,Paschim Bardhaman andMurshidabad districts in theIndianstate ofWest Bengal.
AncientRarh region was divided into several smaller regions – Kankangrambhukti,Bardhamanbhukti andDandabhukti, as part of theGupta Empire. Kankagram was located on the banks of theHooghly.[1]
