Kang Hang (Korean: 강항;Hanja: 姜沆; 1567–1618) was aKorean philosopher who was taken prisoner by the forces ofToyotomi Hideyoshi in 1597.[1] He was taken to Japan where he was influential in passing onneo-Confucianist ideas to the people of Japan.[2]
