Kaludra is avillage in themunicipality ofProkuplje,Serbia. According to the 2002 census, the village has a population of 80 people.[1]
Kaludra was inhabited byAlbanians before theExpulsion of the Albanians took place in 1877–1878.[2] All Albanians left theProkuplje region by force of theSerbian army and fled to modern-dayKosovo, which was back then theVilayet of Kosovo of theOttoman Empire. These Albanians became known asMuxhahirs (meaning "Muslim refugees" inAlbanian)[3] and were demographically Albanians of theGheg dialect andMuslims.
Some families in Kosovo kept their surname (Kalludra) as the village they were from.
