Kagurazaka Station (神楽坂駅,Kagurazaka-eki) is a subway station inShinjuku,Tokyo,Japan. Its station number is T-05. The station exit facesWaseda Dōri, uphill from theKagurazaka intersection and nearbyAkagi Shrine.
Kagurazaka Station is composed of twoside platforms onsplit levels. Platform 1 is on the 3rd basement floor, whereas Platform 2 is on the 2nd basement floor.[1]

Kagurazaka Station opened on 23 December 1964, on the first stage of theTokyo Metro Tozai Line betweenTakadanobaba andKudanshita.
The station facilities were inherited byTokyo Metro after the privatization of the Teito Rapid Transit Authority (TRTA) in 2004.[2]
