Kafr Maris (Arabic:كفر مارس) is aSyrianvillage located inKafr Takharim Nahiyah inHarem District,Idlib. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS),Kafr Maris had a population of 350 in the 2004 census.[1] It is aDruze village of theJabal al-Sumaq region.[2] On 21 October 2025, several residents were killed and others wounded when a unidentified gunman on a motorbike opened fire on a bus near the village.[3]
