Kafr Kalbin (Arabic:كفر كلبين) is a village in northernSyria, administratively part of theA'zaz District ofAleppo Governorate, located northeast ofAleppo. Nearby localities includeA'zaz to the northwest,Jarez to northeast andKaljibrin to the southeast.
According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics, Kafr Kalbin had a population of 2,146 in the 2004 census.[1] In late 19th century, travelerMartin Hartmann noted Kafar Kalbin as a settledArab village of 20 houses.[2]
