KHCB-FM (105.7MHz) is anon-commercialradio station inHouston,Texas. It broadcasts aChristian talk and teachingformat with someChristian music programs. It is owned by Houston Christian Broadcasters, Inc., anon-profit organization.[2] Thestudios and offices are on South Boulevard in Houston. It has always been a Christian station,signing on the air on March 9, 1962; 63 years ago (March 9, 1962).

KHCB-FM has aneffective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000watts, the maximum for most FM stations. Thetransmitter is on Plaisance Road inMissouri City, co-located with thetower forKPRC-TV.[3] KHCB-FM serves as theflagship station for a network of dozens of stations and translators.
