KRFO-FM (104.9MHz) is a radio station airing acountry musicformat, licensed toOwatonna, Minnesota. KRFO-FM is owned byTownsquare Media.[2]

History

KRFO-FM went on the air December 29, 1966.[3]

On August 30, 2013, a deal was announced in whichTownsquare Media would acquire 53Cumulus Media stations, including KRFO-FM, for $238 million. The deal was part of Cumulus' acquisition ofDial Global; Townsquare and Dial Global were both controlled byOaktree Capital Management.[4][5] The sale to Townsquare was completed on November 14, 2013.[6]
