KATY-FM (101.3MHz, "101.3 & 103.9 Katy FM"), is acommercial radio station serving to the southwestern portion of theRiverside-San Bernardinoradio market. KATY-FM islicensed toIdyllwild, California, with its studios and offices inTemecula, California. It broadcasts anadult contemporaryradio format, described as "More Music, More Variety".
KATY-FM is independently owned and operated by theparent company, All Pro Broadcasting, which is owned by the estate of the lateGreen Bay Packers starWillie Davis. It simulcasts onsister station 103.9KHTI inLake Arrowhead, California.
The current on-air staff includes Jeff Pope, Mia "Mama Mia", Chris Ramone and Anna & Raven (Anna Zapotosky and Jeff Raven). KATY-FM carries thenationally syndicatedJohn Tesh Radio Show.
On December 1, 1989, itsigned on the air, founded by Kay Sadler-Gill, at a time when few women owned radio stations.[2] Sadler-Gill's nickname is "Katy," which is reflected in the station'scall sign.

In 2001, the station was purchased by All-Pro Broadcasting for $3.5 million.[3] On January 16, KATY switched their format to soft AC and rebranded as "KATY 101.3 Lite & Refreshing."
