Junior Salomon (born 8 April 1986) is aBeninese professionalfootballer who plays as adefender forPlateau United and theBenin national team.
Born inAbomey, Benin, Salomon began his career withUniversité Nationale du Bénin FC,[3] before joining ASPAC Cotonou in November 2009.[citation needed] He left Benin in December 2011 and joined top Ivorian clubASEC Mimosas.[4]
He then returned to Benin in 2013 to play forUSS Kraké, briefly before being transferred to former Nigerian championsBayelsa United in March of the same year.[5] He joined promoted Plateau United ahead of the2016 season[6] after Bayelsa was relegated.
Salomon was part of theBenin national football team at the2010 African Cup of Nations inAngola.[7]
