Oluwafemi Junior Ajayilistenⓘ (born 29 January 1996), commonly known asJunior Ajayi, is a Nigerian professionalfootballer who plays as astriker forJordanian Pro League clubAl-Wehdat.[2][3][4]
He was selected inNigeria's 18-man squad for the2016 Summer Olympics,[5] after helping them qualify forRio with his decisive goals. With Nigeria, he won the Olympic bronze medal. Junior Ajayi helped Egyptian giants Al Ahly secure 2CAF Champion Leagues,2019–20 and2020–21. However, following the arrival ofPercy Tau andLuís Miquissone, he was never selected byPitso Mosimane for matches and demanded Al Ahly to terminate his contract. He eventually found himself in Libyan side Al Nasr-Benghazi. On 30 July 2022, Junior Ajayi returned to Egypt by signing for Alexandria-basedSmouha.
