Elections were held inCalifornia on June 8, 2010. Fivepropositions and twospecial elections, one for aState Senate seat and the other for aState Assembly seat were on the ballot. Primary elections for allstatewide offices, a seat to theUnited States Senate, all Californian seats to theHouse of Representatives, all of the seats of theState Assembly, and all even-numbered seats of theState Senate, along with the first round election for the nonpartisanSuperintendent of Public Instruction were also held.
