Julie Summers (born 1960) is an English author, historical consultant[1] and writer, best known for the bookJambusters. The book focuses on several women who were members of the Women's Institute duringWorld War II and who were inspiration for the ITV seriesHome Fires. She is the granddaughter ofPhilip Toosey and the great niece ofSandy Irvine.
