Julia Harting (néeFischer; born 1 April 1990 inBerlin) is a Germanathlete who specialises in thediscus throw. She won the silver medal at the 2016 European Championships, and has represented Germany at two Olympics (2012 and2016).[1]
She was a u18 World Champion in 2007.[2][3]
Fischer representedGermany at the 2012 European Athletics Championships where she finished 5th in thediscus event with a throw of 62.10 metres.[4] She also finished in 5th at the2015 World Championships.[5]
Julia Harting is married to German discus throwerRobert Harting.
