Judith Doris Forst (née Lumb)OC OBC (born November 7, 1943) is a Canadianmezzo-soprano.
Born inNew Westminster,British Columbia, she received aBachelor of Music from theUniversity of British Columbia in 1964. She is the sister-in-law of long time Vancouver radio personality Brian (Frosty) Forst. In 1968 she won theMetropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
Forst made her debut at theMetropolitan Opera on September 19, 1968, at the age of 24 in the small role of the Page inRigoletto.
