Juanita NathanMP is a Canadian politician from theLiberal Party of Canada. She was electedMember of Parliament forPickering—Brooklin in the2025 Canadian federal election.[1]
Nathan ran for her party's nomination in the2017 Markham—Thornhill federal by-election but withdrew in protest of the Liberal Party's handling of the nomination process.[2][3]
She was chair and current York Region District School Board (YRDSB) trustee.[4] She was a city councillor forMarkham City Council from November 15, 2022 to May 14, 2025.[5][6]
She is ofTamil Canadian heritage.[7]
