Juan Cruz Meza (born 14 March 2008) is an Argentinefootballer who plays as anattacking midfielder forPrimera División clubRiver Plate.
Born inCaá Catí in theCorrientes Province of Argentina, Juan Cruz joinedRiver Plate football academy in 2018.[2] He signed his first professional contract with the club in June 2024.[3][4] On 13 July 2025 he made his first team debut inPrimera División match againstPlatense.[5][6][7]
Juan Cruz Meza has represented the Argentina national U16 andU17 teams.[8] He played in2025 South American U-17 Championship, scoring againstParaguay.[9]
Juan Cruz is the younger brother of fellow River Plate playerMaximiliano.[10]
