Jozef Obert (4 January 1938 – 18 October 2020), nicknamedJoschi during his career in Austria, was a Slovakfootballforward and latercoach. He played forSlovan Bratislava,Rudá Hvězda Brno,Tatran Prešov andWacker Innsbruck. He scored 92 goals at theCzechoslovak First League. He died 18 October 2020 in Bratislava.[1]
Obert earned fourcaps for theCzechoslovakia national team and debuted againstSoviet Union infriendly match on 30 August 1958.
His grandsonAdam Obert is a defender playing forCagliari Calcio.[2]
