Angeles signed with theSan Diego Padres as an international free agent in 2018.[1] He made his professional debut in 2019 with theDominican Summer League Padres. In 2021 he played for theLake Elsinore Storm andFort Wayne TinCaps.[2]
On April 3, 2022, Angeles, along withAdrián Martínez, was traded to theOakland Athletics forSean Manaea.[3]

Henry Manuel Báez (born October 12, 2002) is a Dominican professionalbaseballpitcher for theAthletics ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).
On July 2, 2019, Báez signed with theSan Diego Padres as an international free agent.[4] He did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic.[5] Báez made his professional debut in 2021 with theDominican Summer League Padres, posting a 4.25 ERA with 37 strikeouts over 12 games (10 starts).[6]
Báez spent the 2022 season with the rookie–levelArizona Complex League Padres, making 9 appearances (7 starts) and logging a 1–4 record and 3.82 ERA with 41 strikeouts across30+2⁄3 innings of work.[7] He split 2023 between the Single–ALake Elsinore Storm and High–AFort Wayne TinCaps. In 21 games (18 starts) for the two affiliates, Báez registered a combined 7–3 record and 3.84 ERA with 99 strikeouts across98+1⁄3 innings pitched.[8]
Báez split the 2024 campaign between High–A Fort Wayne and the Double–ASan Antonio Missions, compiling a 7–4 record and 2.99 ERA with 109 strikeouts across129+1⁄3 innings pitched over 26 starts. He was subsequently named San Diego's minor league pitcher of the year.[9] Following the season, the Padres added Báez to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[10]
Báez was optioned to the Triple-AEl Paso Chihuahuas to begin the 2025 season,[11] where he posted a 4-2 record and 1.96 ERA with 89 strikeouts over 20 starts.
On July 31, 2025, the Padres traded Báez,Eduarniel Núñez, and prospectsLeo De Vries andBraden Nett to theAthletics in exchange forMason Miller andJP Sears.[12]

Anthony Jordan Causey (born November 19, 2002) is an American professionalbaseballpitcher in theAthletics organization.
Causey attendedSparkman High School inHarvest, Alabama, where he played on the school's baseball team as a pitcher and infielder.[13] He earned All-State honors as a senior in 2021.[14] He went unselected in the2021 Major League Baseball draft and enrolled atJacksonville State University to playcollege baseball.
Causey played the 2022 and 2023 seasons with Jacksonville State, posting a 2.61 ERA as a reliever in 2022 and a 5.07 ERA as a starter in 2023.[15] In both the summers of 2022 and 2023, he played in theCape Cod Baseball League with theFalmouth Commodores.[16][17][18] After his sophomore season at Jacksonville State, he transferred to theUniversity of Tennessee to play college baseball with theTennessee Volunteers.[19] Over 19 appearances for Tennessee in 2024, Causey went 13-3 with a 4.43 ERA and 125 strikeouts over91+1⁄3 innings, helping the Volunteers win the2024 Men's College World Series. After the season, he was selected by theKansas City Royals in the fifth round of the2024 Major League Baseball draft.[20][21] He signed with the team for $477,500.[22]
Causey made his professional debut in 2025 with theQuad Cities River Bandits.[23] In July, he was promoted to theNorthwest Arkansas Naturals.[24] Over 48 relief appearances between the two teams, Causey went 11-5 with a 1.72 ERA and 75 strikeouts over73+1⁄3 innings.[25] He was assigned to play in theArizona Fall League with theSurprise Saguaros after the season.[26]
On February 12, 2025, the Royals traded Causey to theAthletics in exchange forMitch Spence.[27]

Jump attendedJSerra Catholic High School inSan Juan Capistrano, California, where he played baseball. As a senior in 2021, he went 9-0 with a 0.63 ERA.[28] He was selected by theSan Diego Padres in the 18th round of the2021 Major League Baseball draft, but did not sign and instead enrolled atUCLA to playcollege baseball.[29]
Jump made seven appearances as a freshman for UCLA in 2022, going 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA.[30] Jump underwentTommy John surgery and missed all of the 2023 season.[31] After the season, he entered thetransfer portal and transferred toLouisiana State University (LSU).[32] Jump pitched in 17 games (making 15 starts) for LSU in 2024, going 6-2 with a 3.47 ERA and 101 strikeouts over 83 innings.[33] He was selected by theOakland Athletics with the 73rd overall pick in the2024 Major League Baseball draft.[34] He signed with the team for $2 million.[35]
Jump made his professional debut in 2025 with theLansing Lugnuts and was promoted to theMidland RockHounds in mid-May.[36] He was selected to represent the Athletics (alongsideTommy White) at the 2025All-Star Futures Game atTruist Park.[37] Over 26 games (24 starts) between the two teams, Jump went 9-7 with a 3.28 ERA and 131 strikeouts over112+2⁄3 innings.[38]

Joshua Kuroda-Grauer (born January 31, 2003) is an American professionalbaseballshortstop in theAthletics organization.
Kuroda-Grauer grew up inSomerset, New Jersey and attendedFranklin High School, where he played baseball and basketball.[39] He was named theCourier News Player of the Year as a senior.[40]
Kuroda-Grauer playedcollege baseball for theRutgers Scarlet Knights for three seasons. He was named third-team All-Big Ten Conference as a freshman after slashing .299/.365/.416 with 5 home runs and 39 RBIs.[41] Kuroda-Grauer batted .298 during his sophomore season.[42] He playedcollegiate summer baseball for theBourne Braves of theCape Cod Baseball League in 2022 and 2023 and was named the Playoff MVP for the 2023 season.[43][44][45] Kuroda-Grauer was named theBig Ten Conference Baseball Player of the Year as a junior after finishing second in the nation with a .428 batting average.[46]
Kuroda-Grauer was selected in the third round of the2024 MLB draft by theOakland Athletics.[47] He was assigned to theStockton Ports of theSingle-ACalifornia League to begin his professional career.[48] Kuroda-Grauer was promoted to theLansing Lugnuts of theHigh-AMidwest League after batting .389 with 13 runs scored in 12 games with Stockton.[49]

Nankil played for Sweetwater Valley Little League in the2015 Little League World Series.[64] He attendedBonita Vista High School inChula Vista, California, and playedcollege baseball atCalifornia State University, Fullerton for theTitans.[65] In 2022, he played in theCape Cod Baseball League with theChatham Anglers and batted .269 over 14 games.[66][67] As a junior at Cal State Fullerton in 2023, Nankil played in 55 games and hit .316 with five home runs and 39 RBIs.
Nankil was selected by theOakland Athletics in the seventh round of the2023 Major League Baseball draft.[68] He signed with the team for $300,000.[69] He made his professional debut with theArizona Complex League Athletics, hitting .189 over 16 games.
