On August 9, 2021, Sargent left Werder Bremen to joinPremier League clubNorwich City on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee,[16] reported as in the region of €9.5 million.[17] Five days later, he made his debut in a 3–0 home defeat againstLiverpool after coming on as a substitute at 77th minute in place of his former Werder Bremen teammateMilot Rashica.[18] He scored his first two goals for the club on August 24, in an emphatic 6–0 victory overBournemouth in the second round of theEFL Cup.[19]
