Joseph Lennon (22 June 1933 – 25 January 1990)[1] was aFine Gael politician fromCounty Louth inIreland. He was asenator from 1982 to 1987.
A farmer and local councillor in County Louth,[1] Lennon stood unsuccessfully as a Fine Gael candidate forDáil Éireann in theLouth constituency at the1977 and1987 general elections.[2]
In 1982, he was elected to the16th Seanad on theAgricultural Panel, and was re-elected in 1983 to the17th Seanad, serving until 1987 elections.[2]
