Jorgeous is the stage name ofJorge Meza, a drag performer most known for competing onseason 14 ofRuPaul's Drag Race andseason 9 andseason 10 ofRuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.[2]

Meza was born and raised to aMexican American family inWest San Antonio, Texas.[3][4][5][6]

Career

Meza started doingdrag and performing ingay bars at the age of 16.[7][8][9] He has said, "The name Jorgeous came from the word 'gorgeous' and my boy name, which is Jorge."[10]

Jorgeous competed onseason 14 ofRuPaul's Drag Race.[2] After surviving multiple lip syncs,[11] she was eliminated after failing to impress judges during a challenge in which contestantsroasted series judgeRoss Mathews.[12] Stephen Daw ofBillboard called her "the season's undisputed lip sync assassin".[13] While filming, Jorgeous had an unaired "budding romance" with fellow contestantOrion Story.[14][15] FollowingDrag Race, she joined theWerq the World tour.[16] She was a cast member of the variety showRuPaul's Drag Race Live!, as of 2023.[17][18]

In 2022, Jorgeous appeared alongside otherdrag queens in a tribute toJennifer Lopez at theiHeartRadio Music Awards.[19] She also appeared in themusic video forLeland's song "Taste So Good".[20][21]

On April 23, 2024, Jorgeous was announced as one of the eight contestants competing on theninth season ofRuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.[22]

On April 23, 2025, Jorgeous was announced as one of eighteen formerDrag Race contestants participating in thetenth season ofRuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.[2]

Personal life

Meza relocated toTennessee for work at the age of 18.[23] He lived inNashville as of late 2021.[24] Meza is gay and has an older brother who is also gay.[3]

Jorgeous had approximately 300,000 followers onInstagram, as of May 2025.[25]
