Jorge Fernando dos Santos Silva (born 22 March 1996) is a Portuguese professionalfootballer who plays as aright-back forAzerbaijan Premier League clubTuran Tovuz.
Born inPorto, Silva finished his development atSporting CP. He made his senior debut withtheir reserves in theLigaPro on 23 January 2016, playing the entire 3–0 away loss againstFarense.[2]
Silva signed withLeixões of the same league on 17 June 2016.[3] During his spell at theEstádio do Mar he appeared in an average of 28 league matches, beingsent off in the 1–0 home defeat toAcadémico de Viseu on 30 October 2016.[4]
On 1 July 2019, Silva joinedPrimeira Liga clubPaços de Ferreira on a three-year contract.[5] He played his first game in the competition on 4 November, as a second-halfsubstitute in the 1–0 loss atB-SAD.[6]
Silva missed the vast majority of the2020–21 and2021–22 seasons, due to injury.[7][8]
On 26 June 2023, Silva moved abroad for the first time and signed withSlovenian PrvaLiga championsOlimpija Ljubljana on a two-year contract.[9] His debut on 11 July was the first European game of his career, a 2–1 home win over Latvia'sValmiera in thefirst qualifying round of theUEFA Champions League.[10]
Silva scored his first goal as a professional on 6 April 2024, his team's second in the 3–2 away victory againstRogaška after replacing his compatriotDavid Sualehe athalf-time.[11] He won the national league at the end of the2024–25 campaign.[12]
On 11 September 2025, Silva joinedAzerbaijan Premier League sideTuran Tovuz on a two-year deal.[13]
