Jonk River

Jonk River is atributary ofMahanadi River that flows for approximately 210 kilometers through theNuapada District andBargarh District in the state ofOdisha; and theMahasamund District andRaipur District in the state ofChhattisgarh inIndia.[1] The river starts from theSunabeda plateau and enters Maraguda valley where it is joined by a stream called Gaidhas-nala near Patora village. The river forms Beniadhas fall (80 feet) and Kharaldhas Fall (150 feet) before entering the valley.[2] It joins Mahanadi atShivrinarayan.
