Jonathan Archie Taumateine (born 28 September 1996) is a professionalrugby union player who plays as ascrum-half forSuper Rugby clubMoana Pasifika. Born in New Zealand, he representsSamoa at international level after qualifying onancestry grounds.[1]

Club career

Taumateine signed with theMoana Pasifika for the2022 Super Rugby Pacific season.[2] His position of choice isscrum-half.[3][4]

International career

In July 2021, he was named in theSamoa squad for the July internationals.[5] Taumateine made his international debut for Samoa on 10 July in a 42–13 win over Tonga.
