Jonathan Igla is a writer and producer. He served the head writer and executive producer for theDisney+ seriesHawkeye.[1] Igla has written and produced for numerous shows, includingMad Men,Pitch,Sorry for Your Loss,Shut Eye, andBridgerton.
Igla is most well known for his work on theAMC seriesMad Men. He began as a writer in 2010 and ended up as an executive story editor.[2] In 2015, he wrote for theShowtime seriesMasters of Sex.[3][4] In 2016, he was a writer and co-producer for the showPitch.[5][6] The following year, he worked as a writer and producer for the second season ofShut Eye, writing two episodes.[7] He served as a supervising producer and writer for theFacebook Watch drama seriesSorry for Your Loss.[7] In 2020, he co-produced theNetflixperiod dramaBridgerton.[8] In September 2019, it was announced that he would be the head writer for theDisney+ showHawkeye, which premiered in November 2021.[1] In 2021, he was nominated for thePrimetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series.[9]
