Jon Richard Collins[1] (May 7, 1923 – March 12, 1987)[2] was a justice of theSupreme Court of Nevada from 1966 to 1971.
Born inEly, Nevada, Collins attendedWhite Pine High School, receiving his undergraduate degree from theUniversity of Pennsylvania, and hisJuris Doctor degree from theGeorgetown University Law Center.[2]
On June 5, 1966, GovernorGrant Sawyer appointed Collins to a seat on the court vacated byMilton Benjamin Badt. Collins was elected November 1966 to the four-year unexpired term.[2]
