Johnathan Keith Baldwin II (born February 8, 2003) is an American professionalfootballsafety for theGreen Bay Packers of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theUNLV Rebels.
Baldwin was born on February 8, 2003, inHouston, Texas.[1][2] He attendedDobie High School in Houston where he playedfootball for four years and also playedbasketball.[2] In football, he posted 48tackles and aninterception as asophomore and 40 tackles and two interceptions as ajunior.[2] He recorded two interceptions as asenior and also ran for 1,053 yards, scoring 18touchdowns, in the 2020 season.[2] He was named the 22-6A DistrictMVP for his performance.[3] Baldwin committed to playcollege football for theUNLV Rebels.[2]
Baldwin was a backup as atrue freshman at UNLV in 2021 before becoming a startingsafety in 2022.[4] He recorded 10 tackles in 2021 and 56 tackles, along with a team-best sevenpass breakups, in 2022, followed by 77 tackles in 2023.[2] As a senior in 2024, Baldwin was named second-team All-Mountain West Conference (MW) after recording 68 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss (TFLs), 3.5sacks, three interceptions and 13 pass breakups.[2][5] In his college career, he recorded six interceptions.[5]
After going undrafted in the2025 NFL draft, Baldwin signed with theGreen Bay Packers as anundrafted free agent, receiving a contract that included $115,000 guaranteed.[5] He waswaived at the final roster cuts, on August 26, 2025, then re-signed to thepractice squad two days later.[6][7] On December 31, the Packers signed Baldwin to their active roster.[8]
