John Snowden (born 16 January 1969)[1] is asport shooter from New Zealand.
At the2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, he competed in the full bore rifle open singles and open pairs.[2]
At the2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, he won a gold medal in thefull bore rifle open pairs withMike Collings.[3] He also competed in the full bore rifle open singles, finishing 13th.[2]
In 2013, Snowden won the Ballinger Belt at the New Zealand rifle shooting championships.[1]
Snowden competed at the2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, finishing 18th in theQueen's prize individual, and eighth withMike Collings in theQueen's prize pairs.[4]
In 2018, Snowden won his second Ballinger Belt.[5] He won the Ballinger Belt for a third time in 2023.[6]
