Johann Christian Schieferdecker

Johann Christian Schieferdecker (orSchiefferdecker;[1] 10 November 1679 – 3 April 1732[2][3]) was a German Baroque composer.

Schieferdecker was born inTeuchern. He becameharpsichord player at theHamburg Opera, then succeededDietrich Buxtehude as organist of theMarienkirche inLübeck.[4] He died inLübeck.
