Joe McCleery was an Irishfootball manager.[1]
McCleery was born inLurgan around 1884.[1] He was the first manager ofDerry City F.C. upon their entry into theIrish League in 1929.[2][3] Prior to this he had been manager ofDundalk.[1]
McCleery died in Lurgan in October 1957 at age 73.[1]
