Joe Marston Medal

TheJoe Marston Medal is anA-League Men award given to theplayer of the match in theA-League Men Grand Final each year. Introduced in 1990, previously the award was also given to the best player in theNational Soccer League grand final. The medal is named afterJoe Marston, who played forAustralia national association football team in the 1950s and was a member of thePreston North End side that played in the1954 FA Cup final.
