Joseph Andrew Krakoski Jr.(Pronounced: KRA-ka-ski) (born December 18, 1937) is an American former professionalfootball player who was adefensive back in theNational Football League (NFL) for theWashington Redskins, as well as theOakland Raiders of theAmerican Football League. Krakoski was a fourteen time letter winner at Westville High School in Westville, Illinois.
He playedcollege football at theUniversity of Illinois where he was a member ofSigma Pi fraternity.[1] He was selected in the sixth round of the1961 NFL draft, as well as in the 18th round of the1961 AFL draft.
He is the father of formerWashington Redskins linebacker,Joe Krakoski.[2]
