Canadian road bicycle racer (born 1987)
Joëlle Numainville (born November 20, 1987)[2][3] is a Canadian formerroad bicycle racer.[4]
She competed at the2012 Summer Olympics in thewomen's road race, finishing 12th. Numainville leftOptum–Kelly Benefit Strategies for Belgium-basedLotto–Belisol Ladies in August 2014, replacing BritonEmma Pooley who retired from cycling.[5][6] TheBigla Pro Cycling Team announced that Numainville would join them for the 2015 season.[1] Numainville retired in 2018 due tophlebitis, and moved into the financial sector.[7]
