Jim Silvestro (born 30 May 1963) is a formerAustralian rules footballer who played with theSydney Swans in theVictorian Football League (VFL).[1]
Silvestro won theLatrobe Valley Football League'sbest and fairest award back to back in 1986 and 1987, playing for Traralgon. A rover, he was selected by theSydney Swans with pick 49 in the1987 National Draft.[2] He made eight appearances for the Swans in the1988 VFL season.[3] In round 12, he kicked four goals in a win over theWest Coast Eagles at theSydney Cricket Ground.[3][4]
From 1991 to 1993, then again in 1998, Silvestro was coach ofCorowa-Rutherglen in theOvens & Murray Football League.[5] He also coached theWodonga Raiders, in 1996.[6]
