James W. Brown (died 1955) was a Scottish professionalfootballer who played in theScottish League forCowdenbeath,St Bernard's,Lochgelly United,Heart of Midlothian andHamilton Academical as acentre half.[1][2]
Brown served in theRoyal Scots during theFirst World War and after his retirement from football, he became the High Chief Ruler of aFife branch of theIndependent Order of Rechabites.[2]
