Jhabrera is a town and anagar panchayat inHardwar district in the Indianstate ofUttarakhand, situated 17 kilometres fromRoorkee. It can be reached by taking a left turn beforeGanga canal and while enteringManglaur town from Delhi. It is about 8 km from Iqbalpur railway station.
The town's name originated from the former village of "Jhabar Hera", established by Rao Bahmal,chieftain andzamindar during the reign ofMughal EmperorShahjahan.[2]
