Jessica Lucetta Léone Houara-d'Hommeaux (néeHouara) (born 29 September 1987) is a former Frenchfootball player who played as amidfielder forParis Saint-Germain,Lyon and other French clubs, and for theFrance national team.

Club career

Jessica Houara made her debut atCroix Blanche Angers [fr] club, then joinedCeltic de Marseille Women [fr] andAS Saint-Étienne.[2]

She then signed withPSG for 7 years.[3] With the Paris club, she won aCoupe de France in 2010, and finished second in the championship five times.

In 2016, she joinedOlympique Lyonnais.[4][5] On 18 November 2018, she and Lyon played against PSG - her former club, Lyon then lost 0-1.[3] In the same year, she left Lyon after two years ofserious knee injury.[6][7] She announced her retirement at the same time as her pregnancy.[8]

International career

Jessica Houara was selected for various national youth team. With the under-19, she was a runner-up in theUEFA European U19 Championship in2005 and2006.

With the under-20s, she was called up toFrench's squad for the2006 Under-20 World Cup. The French team reached the quarter-finals of the competition, but get knocked-out byU20 North Korea.

She made her debut for the seniorFrance national team on 8 March 2008 in afriendly match againstMorocco.[citation needed]
