Jeremiah Israël "Jerry" St. Juste (born 19 October 1996) is a Dutch professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back forEredivisie clubFeyenoord.

Early life

St. Juste was born inGroningen to a Dutch mother and aKittitian father.[3] He grew up with three siblings.[1][4] His brother Benjamin is a formerHeerenveen andGroningen youth player, and has playedfutsal for VV Pelikaan.[5] His other brother Yoshua plays futsal for theNetherlands national futsal team.[6] His sister Naomi works as afashion model andtelevision actress in the Netherlands.[7]

Club career

Heerenveen

St. Juste started his career for SV Marum.[8] In summer 2007 he joined toJong Heerenveen.[9] He made hisEredivisie debut on 24 January 2015 againstVitesse. He replacedJoost van Aken in injury time in a 4–1 home win.[10] On 16 January 2016, he scored first Eredivisie goal in a 5–2 away defeat againstZwolle.[11]

Feyenoord

St. Juste moved toFeyenoord on 18 July 2017 on a four-year deal.[12] He made his debut for that club on 9 September 2017 in a match againstHeracles Almelo.[13] Later that year, on 17 December, he scored his first goal in a 7–0 away victory overSparta Rotterdam in theRotterdam derby.[14]

Mainz 05

On 7 August 2019, Feyenoord announced on their website St. Juste was moving toMainz on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.[15] A month later, on 14 September, he scored his inauguralBundesliga goal in the 88th minute of a 2–1 victory overHertha BSC.[16]

Sporting CP

On 11 May 2022, it was confirmed that St. Juste would sign for Portuguese clubSporting CP at the beginning of the2022–23 season.[17] The deal was worth a reported €9.5 million.[18] Later that year, on 2 September, he scored his firstPrimeira Liga goal in a 2–0 away win overEstoril.[19] The next season, St. Juste had rumors of interest fromLiverpool F.C. after becoming a frequent starter forRuben Amorim.[20]

In the2024 Taça de Portugal final, he scored the first goal for his club againstFC Porto, before being sent off in the first half, in a match which ended in a 2–1 defeat after extra time.[21]

At the start of the2025–26 season, after being considered surplus to requirements by managerRui Borges and allegedly rejecting arranged transfers toOsasuna andUnion Berlin, St. Juste was relegated to Sporting'sB team.[22]

Return to Feyenoord

On 22 January 2026, St. Juste left Sporting CP and returned to Feyenoord on a free transfer, signing a contract until June 2027, with an option for a further year.[23]

International career

St. Juste was called up for theNetherlands U21 national team for qualifiers for the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Poland. He is also eligible to play for theSaint Kitts and Nevis national team at senior level.[citation needed]

St. Juste was called up to the seniorNetherlands squad in March 2021.[24]
