Jeir (/dʒɪər/) is a rural locality in theSouthern Tablelands ofNew South Wales,Australia in theYass Valley Shire. It is north ofCanberra and south ofYass andMurrumbateman on the western side of theBarton Highway and the eastern side of theMurrumbidgee River.[2] At the2016 census, it had a population of 259.[1]
